Connecticut Electric Railway Trolley Museum, Route 140, East Windsor, Connecticut

15-Bench Open Car 840, Built 1905 by Jones Co. for the Consolidated Railway of Connecticut, as No. 383. Seen approaching, south bound, the Museum's Kelly Barn Yards during the Annual Beer-Fest sponsored by the East Windsor Lions. No. 840 is the very last open car to operate in revenue service on city streets anywhere in the U.S.A. The public is invited to ride the trolleys every Holiday & Weekends year-round, and Daily July & August.
