Branford Trolley Museum, East Haven, Connecticut

The antique and the modern make a vivid contrast. Open trolley No. 34 dates from 1899 and spent its summers operating in Wildwood, New Jersey. The streamliner is No. 1001 - the world's first - and ran for 20 years in Brooklyn, beginning in 1936. (Cars like it still serve 6 U.S. cities). Schedule of Trolley Operation for Visitors: July and August - daily; June and September - Saturday & Sunday; April, May, October, November - Sundays.
