Branford Trolley Museum, East Haven, Connecticut

Resplendent in fresh paint and varnish, open car 1425 slows down for a switch on the museum's main line. Open cars were popular for outings to beaches and parks, and are popular too at the trolley museum. No. 1425 dates to 1911, and served the Connecticut Company in New Haven for more than a third of a century. Schedule of Trolley Operation for Visitors: July and August - daily; June and September - Saturday & Sunday; April, May, October, November - Sundays.
