Branford Trolley Museum, East Haven, Connecticut
No. 948 was operated in Atlanta by the Georgia Power Company for more than 20 years. Built in 1926 by Cincinnati Car Co., it has sliding doors and clerestory roof - an unusual feature for so late a date. After streetcar service ended in Atlanta, 948 was preserved by Mr. Hall Carmical at a nearby town, and in the early 1960s he donated it to the museum. Since then its has been carefully restored by Gene Carson. Schedule of Trolley Operation for Visitors: July and August - daily; June and September - Saturday & Sunday; April, May, October, November - Sunday.
