D&H-B&M-MBTA No. 19

One of the last four Alco PA passenger diesels to be used in daily service. The PA's are generally used on the Boston to Framingham commuter service. Engineer Bob Evans has received a highball from his conductor and is leaving Newtonville, Massachusetts with train No. 442 for Boston. The commuter service is unique in that it is provided by the Boston & Maine over Conrail tack with Delaware & Hudson engines! April 3, 1978.
