Nova Scotia Light & Power T-44 trolley coach No. 238 (series 201-260; CanCar 1948) lays over opposite the Canadian National Railways station, Halifax, September 12, 1967. Trolley bus operation commenced March 27, 1949 when street cars were abandoned. Official retirement of these trolleys occurred January 1, 1970 when Halifax Transit Corporation took over.
