Old Number 470, last steam locomotive to operate on the Maine Central Railroad. The big "C" class Pacific type locomotive made its final run, round trip from Portland to Bangor, on June 13, 1954. It is preserved at the Waterville station as a monument to many years of steam operation by railroads.
