The Bridgton & Harrison enjoyed a minor revival in the late thirties when rail buffs discovered the "Toy Railroad." Large tours like the Boston Railroad Enthusiasts Excursions boosted income. Younger buffs worked summers helping with the extra loads and upgrading the remaining equipment like No. 7, here squealing 'round "The Notch." Despite the foresight of buffs and directors, Bridgton citizens forced the sale and dismantling of the B&H in 1941.
